Joanna Angel Writes/Directs Scene For Pure Taboo Horror Anthology

LOS ANGELES—Awarded performer/director Joanna Angel has written, directed and stars in an episode of the “Under The Bed” horror anthology for Pure Taboo, performing alongside Katrina Jade and Lacy Lennon. For years, Joanna Angel has been porn’s Queen Of Hallowe’en. From parodies of Frankenstein and The Walking Dead to original fare like Cindy, Queen Of Hell and this year's Three Cheers For Satan, her unique blend of sex, gore, and camp has become to All Hallow's Eve what the Grinch and Charlie Brown are to Christmas. It's no surprise, then, that Ms. Angel was on the short list of directors for the inaugural season of Adult Time's "Under The Bed" anthology, which Chief Creative Officer Bree Mills described as “modern horror television for adults that happens to have sex in it.” In the episode which Angel wrote and directed, entitled "The Night They Came for Lacy," the titular protagonist flashes back to the day that she (Lacy Lennon) killed two of her best friends (played by Angel and Katrina Jade) and her boyfriend (Small Hands) in a horrific car accident. Lacy’s guilt-riddled visit to their graves on the anniversary of their deaths takes a terrifying (and sexy) turn, though, when they rise from their caskets to engage in a spirited three-on-one hate-fuck zombie orgy! Ms. Angel was eager for the opportunity to add to her already impressive horror-porn filmography. “While it’s been a tradition of mine to make a feature horror comedy every year for Burning Angel,” she enthused, “this year I now have something to make you laugh... and make you cry. Either way, there’s a lot of blood and sex, and the members of Adult Time will have plenty of gore to wank it to this October!” And Angel had nothing but praise for rising star Lacy Lennon. “Lacy is incredible! Her tears and screams felt so real, it was petrifying. She’s a true star, in both acting and sex. For that reason, I’ll forgive her for murdering me.” Angel's scenes are among the wildest and most high-energy she's ever done, a fact Lennon was keenly aware of by the end of the shoot. “I had no clue what I was getting myself into when I got my script from Joanna," Lacy admitted. "I was stoked to work for and with some of the most amazing people in our industry. By the end of the set, I had a scraped knee, no more vocals from all the screaming and some awesome sex that had my legs shaking constantly. There was one point where we were trying to figure out the sex and we all said, 'Fuck yeah, we'll fuck in the dirt!’ Ha!” But it wasn't just her physical limits Lacy was testing in this project. “It was really important for me to stay in character no matter how much I wanted to smile and laugh. So I did! I am really proud of this scene. I pushed my acting, I pushed my sex and I just gave every ounce of effort I had. This is one that I recommend to all my fans to enjoy! If I ever get offered to be taken advantage of by some zombies, my answer is a forever 'yes’!” said Lennon. "Under The Bed"'s Executive Producer Frank Stacy couldn't help but geek out when discussing Angel's involvement. “Joanna is the queen of horror porn. I personally owned a copy of Re-Penetrator and it’s still one of my favorites!
