Fresh Faces: Abby Adams

It was a way for me to get out of my home town and be independent." She moved to Brooklyn and supplemented her income from the club with webcamming. "I started to meet other webcam models and I started to think of things differently. I loved the club but it's not a life to live." Adams has changed her performing style since starting her on-camera career: "When I started, I thought every girl has to be the most extreme that they cam handle. There's so much material out there that you have to shock people with the most extreme sex acts possible. That's what I was doing at first. People would meet me at the club and say 'You're more innocent and calm in person.' I decided my brand should represent who I am; what I do can be a little bit kinky but it's not really hardcore. I play more on my personality and how I interact with my fans. I was presenting myself as really freaky, and I have that side of me, but it's too exhausting to pursue that 24/7." Adams says he likes to "use my creativity to make a scene my own. I think the connection with the costar is really important. It's nice to be in the rotation and be with the same people. Them knowing what you're into, and you knowing what they're into, makes it look more authentic. In my clips, I like doing scenes with girls who are my type: college-girl, young and innocent. I also do daddy themes with my boyfriend. It sometimes goes into the punishment realm, but on the lighter side." A sorority hazing scenario is her dream scene. "I could be the hazer or the haze-ee. In a sorority hazing scene I could play both roles. I'd be the haze-ee first, just for continuity. [laughs] 'They did this to me, now I'm doing it to you.' I'd like to do a scene where they blindfold the girl and make her guess who's eating her pussy." Her words to live by are tattooed on her shoulder: "Every woman is a rebel" from Oscar Wilde. She's active with sex worker advocacy with Sex Workers Outreach Project in New York. "I run a fundraising play party in a dungeon every few months. We charge the sex workers who want to come in a little and we charge the men who want to come in a lot. We make a lot of money from it and put it back into the Project." She's based in New York, where she does content trade and works in strip clubs, and comes to L.A. "for a couple weeks every two months. Vegas is on the radar when I'm on the west coast.
