Aneros Raises Awareness, Funding at ZERO Prostate Cancer Charity Run

HOUSTON – Sexual health and wellness company Aneros walked for charity at the 2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk in Austin, placing second in fundraising at the event, which in total raised over $70,000 for prostate cancer treatment, education and free testing nationally.

According to ZERO, “no other prostate cancer charity spends more per dollar” on the treatment, education and testing programs the charity supports. ZERO says over 86 cents per dollar the group raises goes to such programs.

“It’s astonishing how far our efforts have gone, and how much we were able to raise in such a short time,” said Brent Aldon, director of Sales and Marketing for Aneros. “The ZERO Prostate Cancer Foundation is an amazing organization and we are so proud of the impact we made. Each year, September is Prostate Health Awareness Month, and it is an important time for everyone to come together for a worthy cause which affects so many persons. A special thank you to all the industry family for donating to this amazing cause.”

In its statement about the company’s participation in the fundraiser, Aneros said that since its launch, the company “has been committed to bringing customers high-quality devices that promote sexual health and wellness, led by its patented line of therapeutic prostate massagers, the only products of their kind to be evaluated in a medical study for their effectiveness.”

Aneros also created the Aneros Forum, where both beginning and advanced users gather to “continue discourse on the value and benefit of prostate massage.”

According to its website, ZERO “offers comprehensive support for prostate cancer patients.”

“Starting with education, we provide millions of men and families with disease information through our website, printed materials, videos, and webinars,” the organization states about its core mission. “Our ZERO360 team of experienced case managers help patients access financial resources, cut through insurance and Medicare red tape, and find emotional support. For men with advanced prostate cancer who could not afford treatment, our financial assistance program provided grants to more than 48,000 men.”
