Missy Martinez Announces Retirement in HotMovies Post

PHILADELPHIA—Veteran adult star Missy Martinez has announced her retirement from shooting in a guest post for the HotMovies Spotlight section. In the post, titled "Hanging Up My Heels: Missy Martinez's Retirement From Porn," the ten-year vet writes that she decided to retire from acting in adult films on May 1. Originally a girl/girl performers, Martinez expanded to boy-girl scenes over her ten-year career as a performer. She started her career off with a bang, winning an AVN Award for her work in Digital Playground's Cherry 2. The scene, also featuring Zoey Holloway, Brooklyn Lee and Diamond Foxxx, won Best All-Girl Group Scene.  Known as much for her great sense of humor and high energy as for her enhanced breasts, Martinez racked up more than 260 titles on IAFD over her career. HotMovies alerted the adult community to her retirement announcement, calling it "trademark Missy." "It is simultaneously touching, vulnerable, eloquent, and extremely funny. It is this same intelligent mix that has cultivated a large and engaged social media following, and landed her a regular spot as a contributor to the HotMovies Spotlight section. She has previously written about the sexual fantasies of other adult performers and given a guide to the etiquette of interacting with adult performers online," said a company spokesman. The Spotlight section of HotMovies.com, now in its fourth year, is produced by several staff writers. The section is updated several times a week.
