If Winning Money on Your Kentucky Derby Pick Isn’t Good Enough...

Picking the right horse in the Kentucky Derby can be a lucrative proposition—especially for bettors who took a flyer on Mine That Bird in 2009, or Giacomo in 2005, both of whom won the Derby as 50-1 longshots. But this year, thanks to the adult camming site CamSoda, the performance of a Derby fan’s chosen horse comes with a bonus—at least for users of the Lovense Lush 2 remote-controlled vibrator. By visiting CamSoda’s DerbyCast site, racing fans can pick their favored horse, then link the Lush vibrator to the site. When the horses burst out of the starting gate on Sunday, May 5, well ... “With the launch of DerbyCast, users can truly feel the excitement as their favorite horse makes its way around the track,” said CamSoda exec Daryn Parker, in a prepared statement. “We’re putting a new meaning behind ‘and down the stretch they come…'” Indeed, the site explains that the faster a chosen horse runs, the more vigorously the Lush sex toy vibrates. But there's a down side: If a horse slows down, so do the device’s vibrations. In other words, picking a win, place or show horse suddenly seems more important than ever. So which horse is likely to generate the most excitement, as it were, among Kentucky Derby fans? Sadly, the early favorite, Omaha Beach, who was listed at 4-1, had to scratch with a condition known as entrapped epiglottis—more simply known as a breathing problem. That leaves the new favorite as Game Winner, the horse racing out of the Number 16 slot, whose odds are currently listed at 9-2. With rain predicted for Sunday at Churchill Downs, however, Washington Post horse racing expert Neil Greenberg sees Improbable as the, well, probable winner—and most likely vibration-producer—based on his previous record of winning races on muddy tracks.
