Bill Bailey Dies in Accident While Attending Expo Sexo

MEXICO CITY—Adult performer Bill Bailey passed away Sunday night as a result of an accidental fall in the hotel where he and several fellow performers were staying while attending the Expo Sexo convention in Mexico City, AVN has confirmed. He was 38.  Talent agent Randy Quintana of Society 15, who was on the scene following the accident, told AVN that Bailey, who had been drinking during the day, tumbled over the railing of a hotel stairwell, falling from the fourth floor all the way to the ground parking level. The fall killed Bailey on impact. "We talked to the U.S. Embassy ... we spoke to the family; we kept them in the loop," Quintana said. "The U.S. Embassy questioned everybody; they got the cameras; there was no foul play—it was an accident. It looks like after they get [Bailey's] passport, two or three days later they're going to go ahead and send the body with the family. They're coordinating with the family. I got the family in touch with the U.S. Embassy." Bailey's fiancé, performer AJ Applegate, was in attendance at Expo Sexo as well, and with Quintana when he spoke to AVN. On her behalf, Quintana stated, "AJ would really love privacy right now, so if maybe our peers could not [offer condolences] on social media, it would help her during her time of mourning, while she makes arrangements with the family." A reliable and prolific performer, Bailey had more than 1,700 performing credits since 2009, including more than 380 scenes for Naughty America, 188 for Brazzers and 70-plus for Evil Angel. He was also a regular for Hustler, Kink, Wicked Pictures, Zero Tolerance, Third Degree and Elegant Angel, among numerous others. He received two nominations for the 2019 AVN Awards—Best Group Sex Scene for his performance in Joanna Angel Gangbang: As Above So Below for BurningAngel/Exile; and Best Three-Way Sex Scene for his scene with Ariana Marie and Tommy Pistol in I Know Who You Fucked Last Halloween, which was also produced by BurningAngel. His scenes amassed more than 382 million views on Pornhub.
