Kim Airs Presenting at Stitch Fetish 7 Art Show at Hive Gallery

LOS ANGELES—Industry vet Kim Airs will present her sex toy show “Ya Wanna Put That WHERE?” This weekend. Airs’ performance is in conjunction with Stitch Fetish 7, an annual art show that combines erotica with fiber arts. It takes place at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, at The Hive Gallery, 729 S Spring St., in downtown Los Angeles. “The show is like nothing you’ve seen before, melding creative textile, stitching and other soft forms of art with explicit images of everything we love!” Airs said. “I am honored to be the official representative of sex toys during the run of the show.” The Hive Gallery is a working art studio and gallery, deep in the heart of downtown Los Angeles and has been open since 2005. Stitch Fetish 7 is the seventh year the show has been presented and is curated by Ellen Schinderman, a well-established fiber artist. “I met Kim last autumn and figured she would blend in perfectly with the theme of the show. I am looking forward to her entertaining presentation during the show,” Ellen said. “She sure knows a lot about the sex toy business!” The workshop takes place 3-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23. For more information about Stitch Fetish 7 running through the end of February, contact Ellen Schinderman at [email protected] Kim Airs has been in the adult toy field for more than 20 years, launching her brick-and-mortar store Grand Opening!, now on the web at GrandOpening.com.
