Catching Up With Kali Roses

LOS ANGELES—Kali Roses tells AVN the words tattooed on her right side contain a message. “Never run faster than your guardian angels can fly," Roses says. Known for her beautiful ink, the performer also has an excerpt from a poem tattooed along with red roses on the left side of her back. It says, “Count the garden by the roses, never by the fallen petals.” “My little sister passed away when I was younger,” Roses explains. “I’ve had a lot of family members pass—my cousin, my aunt, my grandpa… Roses always followed me everywhere I went.” Nowadays Roses finds herself in hustle mode more often than not, wishing she had more time in the day. “Because I want to do everything, but there is only one of me,” Roses jokes. “I can’t complain. You gotta take what you can. I’m very blessed and fortunate.” It’s safe to say Miss Roses is proving to be a “hot commodity” in adult entertainment. Just ask her agent Riley Reynolds from Hussie Models, who started repping the just-turned 23-year-old last summer. “She’s a doll,” Reynolds says. “She’s been very pleasant and gives an amazing performance. I don’t get complaints about her.” A native of Corona, Calif., who moved to Miami in July, Roses established a following as a cam model on Chaturbate before making a smooth transition into porn. She signed a six-month contract with Mindgeek in 2017, raising her profile with sizzling performances for sites such as Brazzers, Reality Kings, Mofos and Digital Playground. “She has a lot of potential,” Reynolds says. “She goes out to LA every other month or so and she always goes out for a week to 10 days—and she books very fast.” Roses at press time in late January had upcoming scenes booked for Mike Adriano’s Swallowed and Nympho, BangBros and even more for Mindgeek. She is also contracted for virtual reality porn with WankzVR; to Blacked for interracial gangbangs; and is slated to be a Bang! Ambassador in March, according to Reynolds. In her Blacked scene called “Passing Me Around,” Roses took on six guys in what was “basically like a train.” “I think it was a lot of fun,” Roses says. “I never had a gangbang with that many people—all men, all so big. It was definitely an experience and something I want to do again.” Speaking of group scenes, Roses also did a five-man blowbang for Hussie Pass. “That was a lot of fun, too,” she adds. “I definitely feel like I killed that scene. I definitely was taking all the dicks. I really enjoyed doing that one.” “She literally shoots everything except for anal,” Reynolds notes. Roses received a 2019 AVN Award nomination for Best Oral Sex Scene with Ike Diezel for her performance for This Girl Sucks/TeamSkeet.com as well as an AVN Fan Award nomination for Hottest Newcomer. “I’m in a fortunate situation just to be able to have a job that holds a roof over my head and to get do something I enjoy and that I would do anyway,” Roses explains. “It’s just so crazy. I just remember being like 18-19, trying to make a couple dollars online… I never thought I would be here. I’m super stoked and blessed and excited.” The May 2016 Twistys Treat of the Month this summer will make her mainstream movie debut as the lead in a horror film slated to premiere on Amazon Prime. The producer discovered her on Chaturbate. “Even though I wasn’t trying to go mainstream, all of this opened the door,” Roses says, noting her character is “a seductress that kills men.” Nowadays Roses is trying to do both porn performing and camming, but it’s a challenge. “I just get so busy but I try to still keep up with cam,” Roses continues. “I feel like that one is my holy grail—where I started. It’s like a different connection with my fans on cam. With porn I just make the content versus being live and interactive. So I do like to keep both.” Roses says she moved to Miami because it was time for new surroundings. “I lived in California my whole life and I just wanted a change,” she says. “I had some family move to the East Coast and I didn’t exactly want to live where they lived, so I made the compromise to be a little bit closer flight wise; and I wanted to work still and be able to continue my career.
