Hime Marie: From Cam Model to Best New Starlet Nominee

Now a year and a half and sixty-something scenes later, the sensational performer is a 2019 nominee for AVN Best New Starlet. “The first thing that comes to mind is I can finally consider myself a porn star,” Hime tells AVN. “I don’t really shoot that much. I cam more often than I do porn, so I’m really astonished that the little porn that I did shoot made an impact.” The 23-year-old native of Albuquerque, N.M., also received a nomination for Best Three-Way Sex Scene for her sizzling throwdown with Jason Luv and Louie Smalls that appears in Greg Lansky’s Blacked Raw V10. Hime, whose name is pronounced “Hee-May” and means princess in Japanese, had done one hardcore boy/girl performance on Chaturbate in 2017 before diving into professional porn in July 2017 in Florida. “I had already had sex with someone live and so many people had seen it,” she says. Hime did her first scene for a porn studio with Kyle Mason under the direction of Levi Cash—for Naughty America. “Everybody was so friendly,” she recalls. “I wasn’t nervous or scared. … Then I stayed in Florida for the whole month of July, just shooting for all kinds of different sites—PornPros, Mindgeek—and after that I started traveling between Florida and L.A.” Now a resident of Arizona and booking adult work exclusively through Hussie Models, Hime Marie still does camming first and foremost—even if she’s become a favorite up-and-comer in the Lansky camp. She says the three-time AVN Director of the Year and founder of Vixen Media Group reached out to her almost immediately after she started. “He said he liked my look and would love to book me for Tushy sometime,” Hime recalls. “I wasn’t quite ready to shoot my first anal at the time.” But when she was ready, she shared that special occasion with Jean Val Jean for Tushy. She has since performed twice more for Tushy as well as worked for Lansky’s sister sites, Blacked and Blacked Raw, where she did an air-tight DP—her first—with Jax Slayer, Luv and Smalls. “I had worked with Jason and Louie both already, so we all had good chemistry,” Hime says. “I was excited about it. I had a fantasy about it for a little while and I got to live it out.” In November, Hime appeared opposite fellow Best New Starlet nominee Emily Willis and three-time AVN Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue in a scalding three-way for Tushy. “That one was so great,” Hime says. “Emily and I are the same size, same height. And Mick Blue was really nice—handsome. He actually shot for me Throated.” Hime says she shot her first scene for Blacked with Luv, not long after her first Tushy debut in August 2017. “And I was so scared just because he’s probably the biggest dick I’ve ever taken ever,” she recalls. “He’s so sweet.” Before adult, Marie worked as a freelance makeup artist and aesthetician; she also did shifts at Drybar, a hair salon, and worked the front desk at a Toni & Guy in California. Hime says she already knew what camming was before she turned 18, so when she decided to try it at 20, she just went for it. She first started on another platform, took a break and then went back to camming—this time for Chaturbate in November 2016. “I joined Chaturbate after I broke up with my ex a second time and started making a lot of money and eventually got my own place. That was probably one of the best decisions I ever made,” she says. “It just took off immediately and people just liked me a lot more on there. It was much more easy for me to have a conversation on Chaturbate. “I feel like every cam model has to find what site works best for her. Chaturbate works best for me. There are a lot more viewers and there is a lot more interaction. The tips are smaller but they’re more frequent. If you can put on a really good show it makes up for it in the end.” Hime continues, “I really prioritize the camming over the porn at the end of the day because that’s what got me started. Ultimately, I’ve been more successful in the cam realm. …I’ve actually been really selective this past summer with the porn I’m shooting.” Hime says she would like to shoot more for Lansky, PornPros and Evil Angel and has her sights set on sites such Trenchcoatx and Pure Taboo. “There are some things that I’m aiming for. I do turn down a lot more now. There’s nothing with wrong with being selective.” When it came time to choose a stage name, Hime says that “Marie” is actually her middle name and that she’s always been interested in Japanese culture. “I’ve been there a couple times,” she says, noting she is Hispanic and German, but can speak a little bit of Japanese. When she’s not working, Hime says she likes watching documentaries about true crime, doing yoga and working out.
