Bid on Tupac Shakur’s Erotic Love Card via Steiner Auctions

For those of us who share two great loves – porn and Tupac – the stars have aligned in a cosmic way that’ll likely never happen again.

A love letter featuring an erotic drawing by Tupac Shakur is currently up for auction via Steiner Auctions.

Shakur created the love note in 1995 for his then-girlfriend Desiree Smith during a stint in New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility. He served nine months for a sexual abuse charge, before he was released on appeal.

The hand-drawn card features an erotic illustration of Shakur and Smith accompanied a message reading “Missing You Deeply! Forever with love.”

Inside, he wrote, “To Desiree, I love you,” and on the back of the drawing he added, “Just a lil something 2 get u Hot & make u reminisse!” [sic]

Steiner Auctions describes the item – “Tupac Shakur ULTRA-RARE Signed & Hand-Drawn Love Card From Jail! (JSA) (NSFW)” — in the following way:

Presented is an unbelievable handwritten love card from music legend Tupac Shakur. This love card was written by Tupac when he was incarcerated at Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannamora, NY. Addressed to his girl Desiree Smith the card features a hand-drawn picture of the two “GETTING IT ON!” Accompanied by the envelope and a handwritten note this is a must have item for any hip-hop fan.

Shakur is one of the most influential artists of his generation. A prominent voice of 1990s hip-hop, Shakur’s 11 platinum albums and 44 singles have resulted in more than 42 million copies in sales. Shakur was the victim of a drive-by shooting on Sept. 7, 1996, in Las Vegas; he died six days later, on Sept. 13, 1996, at the age of 25.

View images of the item — including the drawing, the note/card and the envelope mailed from the correctional facility — and watch the auction (or bid!) right here.

According to Complex.com, this isn’t the first time the artist’s work has been auctioned off.

Last month, two letters written to Shakur’s high school love interest were open for bidding. Both letters were addressed to a person by the name of Averel and written while the artist was a student at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore.

Averel reportedly sold the letters to auction house Moments in Time last year.
