Frank Sapareto, NH Lawmaker Who Did A Porn Video, Loses Election

Frank Sapareto, a 58-year-old conservative Republican New Hampshire state legislator who wanted to be a porn performer and actually shot scenes for a film to be titled Creampie Apocalypse earlier this year, was defeated in his bid for a seventh term representing New Hampshire’s Rockingham District 6 in the state assembly, in last week’s midterm elections.  Just days before the November 6 election, Jonathan Carter, the producer of Creampie Apocalypse, filed a lawsuit against Sapareto, alleging that the lawmaker showed up at his house in Simi Valley, California, the day after the porn shoot and assaulted him because he was unhappy with the way his scenes went during the filming, as AVN.com reported.  In last week’s balloting, Sarapeto placed 14th in a field of 18 candidates to represent the district, in an election where the top 10 vote-getters won seats in the legislature where Sarapeto had previously served as vice-chair of the House Criminal Justice Committee. Sarapeto received 4,211 votes out of a total 81,251 cast in the District 6 election. The top vote-getter in the election received 5,648 votes. In the 2016 election, Sapareto had received 6,458 votes, good enough for seventh place and a term in the State House.  Prior to the election, footage surfaced—released by Carter’s attorney—that showed Sapareto performing in scenes with a female co-star. Despite the footage which was posted online, including on the local political site NH Journal,  Sapareto continued to deny that he had filmed the porn video. “It had my head on a body,” he claimed, according to the Concord Monitor newspaper. “He had pictures of me, and he had records of my voice. But what they showed me was me in situations I wasn’t there.” Sapareto had initially denied that he knew Carter, but later admitted that he had, in fact, entered into a business deal with the producer, investing $5,000 to produce “tourism videos,” as AVN.com reported.  The soon-to-be-former lawmaker also denied assaulting Carter, saying that while he did visit the producer at his home, he was simply returning camera equipment after backing out of the “tourism video” deal when he realized that Carter was also involved with porn. Sapareto told NH Journal that he was the victim of a “scam” and a “political hit job.” Photo via Frank Sapareto Twitter
