Erotique Entertainment Signs Lexi Lore to 1-Year Contract

LOS ANGELES—Performer/director Eric John's Erotique Entertainment has signed newcomer Lexi Lore to a one-year agreement entailing a per-month scene stipulation, cross-promotion and collaborative content production.A native of Virginia, 19-year-old Lore started out as a cam performer last August and has only performed in professional adult productions since December, when she signed with Miami-based Hussie Models. Prior to jumping into adult full time, she was working in a restaurant, but "I was making more money camming, and I was kind of bored of that," she told AVN. "So I was looking for a job ... my dad told me I should look for a job on Craigslist, and I did, and I saw the adult section and I was like, 'Oh, this looks interesting,' and I found porn."Lore connected with John when she first came to L.A. in February and he booked her for one of his ErotiqueTV live shows. He says he felt an instant kinship with Lore and was compelled to partner with her as soon as possible. "A small amount of people really stick with you after the scene," he enthused, "and our scene was magical, but then on the way home talking, there was a bunch of things about stuff she said that really resonated with me."When Lore returned to L.A. earlier this month, John had her booked again, and as she tells it, "We talked, and everything kind of aligned nicely."Added John, "I don't think anybody else except me would say completely meaning it that the 19-year-old blonde female person and I could be equal partners, but I think we can, because we already are, and we already have merged ideas together in a way that's produced different things this month than I would have produced. She has a tireless energy like I do ... all we do is work all the time. I was so impressed the first time I saw that. You know what I did when I was 19? Nothing but work, because I was at M.I.T. and I was trying to graduate in three and a half years, and everybody else was going out and all this stuff, and I was like, 'You know what? I have better things to do. I'm gonna get out of here and go run the world and shit.'"She's that," he continued. "And no one would think that, but that's what she is, and that's why it's going to work."As far as the specifics of the contract, John explained that it does not call for exclusivity, but "there's a salary for a certain number of live shows, a certain number of cross-promotional activities, then in addition to that we plan to co-produce, co-own a whole set of other stuff that will be collaborative and expand both of our platforms." Lore and John will share rights to the content they shoot together during the coming year of the deal for distribution across their respective platforms—in his case, the Erotique sites, and in hers, ManyVids and IsMyGirl at present, with others to possibly be added in the future. For her part, Lore said she hopes this deal will help position her as a viable brand name in control of her own path. "My goal is to not rely on anybody else," she offered. "I want my own content to be successful enough ... like right now Eric's helping me out a lot, so I'm hoping that by the end of the year, I'll be in a better place and I'll be able to help Eric out. So it's like a mutual thing."She also plans to continue the online courses she's already begun taking in computer science—one more bit of correlation between herself and John. "I'm still enrolled in them, I just don't have a base college to go to here," she said. "But I want to be able to do computer science as well, I feel like it will tie into the industry really well, and I can do something with that."Concluded John, "She thinks strategically. Most people think tactically. So I think if you think strategically, you can get an edge on the people that only think tactically, and I see that in her and the way she approaches things. So for me, it will benefit the company to be associated with her, I think it will benefit her to be associated with the company, and I think we can produce some good stuff together."Find Lexi Lore on Twitter @LexiLore, and follow @ErotiqueTV or visit ErotiqueTVLive.com for updates on her next live show.Click here to see a photo gallery of Lexi Lore by Jake Jacobs from her visit to AVN's offices Tuesday.
