Davey Wavey Named Keynote Speaker for GayVN Brunch at Internext


LOS ANGELES—AVN Media Network is pleased to announce Davey Wavey, the internationally known YouTube personality, will be the keynote speaker for the anticipated GayVN Brunch at the 2018 Internext Expo in Las Vegas. Davey Wavey will deliver his address at noon on Sunday, January 21st inside Vinyl nightclub at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Davey is a gay digital storyteller with the largest and most-viewed LGBT topic channel on YouTube. With more than a million subscribers and 400 million video views on his channel (wickydkewl), he empowers his audience with shareable content about sexual exploration, connection and joy. Davey recently launched Himeros.tv, a website that enhances gay men's experience of sex and sexuality through erotic videos. “I'm absolutely thrilled to speak at the GayVN Brunch at Internext,” Davey Wavey said. “Porn is the only thing that I enjoy more than cheese or Oprah, so I've been preparing my whole life for this opportunity.” The internet phenom offered a taste of what he’ll discuss during his talk. “Like many gay boys, I learned about gay sex by watching porn. And as it turns out, porn isn't particularly good at teaching you about pleasure or connection,” Davey said. “There's an opportunity to create an evolution—or maybe even a revolution—in the erotic content that we produce and distribute. I believe that we can create hot, juicy videos that also demonstrate sexual ecstasy, embodied models and true intimacy—and, in doing so, lift up our community and set an example for the world.” In addition to his celebrated YouTube videos, Davey travels the world for inspiration and adventure. Later that same evening, the GayVN Awards Show will make its long-awaited return at 9 p.m. inside The Joint; the official GayVN Awards After-Party will follow in Vinyl. Then on Monday, January 22nd, the second GayVN seminar will explore the State of the Gay Industry beginning at 2 p.m. at the Montreaux Room.
