Lexington Steele Signs Distribution Deal With Exile

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—It’s big news from a big star today: Lexington Steele has officially announced that he has launched Lexington Steele Media Group, another arm in the multi-limbed enterprises operated by the veteran adult performer. Distribution will be handled by Exile Distribution. As noted in a press release from Exile, Steele is “one of the most sought after performer/directors/producers in the adult business. His attention to detail and his eye for a perfect shot is what sets him apart from the rest. Not to mention the fact he is hung like a horse.” But it’s Steele’s business acumen that is behind this latest industry move. His two decades in the adult industry have been informed by his background in the financial world. Prior to moving out to the West Coast from New York, Steele worked as a stockbroker. He graduated from Syracuse University College of Arts and Sciences with a double degree in history and African American studies. His adult industry accolades include, most prominently, being thrice named AVN’s Male Performer of the Year (in 2000, 2002 and 2003). Steele began his career in front of the camera in 1998 and founded his first company, Mercenary Pictures, in 2003. In 2013 he established Lexington Steele Productions, distributing titles with Evil Angel—a collaboration that produced a string of AVN Award-winning titles. According to a statement from Steele, “Furthering the expansion and utilization of LS [Lexington Steele] brand, the launch of the Lexington Steele Media Group not only facilitates the continued distribution of Lexington Steele Productions, but serves as a platform for other studios to gain access to the market.” At present two studios are under the LSMG banner: Lexington Steele Productions, which has a catalog of some 300 or more titles distributed, produced and directed by Lexington Steele since 2003. The second is Alpha Females LLC, owned and operated by Savana Styles and focusing on vignette-oriented content. (Click here for more on Styles and her first feature film, The Riders.) Steele expects that his new endeavor “will grow exponentially from the initial two studios to more, as the market makes room for LSMG.” Above, photo of Lexington Steele by Kevin Moore
