Dakota Arrested on Domestic Battery Charge

PINELLAS PARK, Fla.—2015 AVN Best New Starlet nominee Dakota (aka Dakota Skye) was arrested early Saturday morning at the home of her boyfriend, Robert Anderson Jr., after a brawl that left Anderson Jr. with a swollen, cut lip, The Smoking Gun reports. Dakota was charged with domestic battery and spent a day in Pinellas County jail before being released Sunday on her own recognizance and ordered to have no contact with Anderson Jr. According to the arrest record, the fight erupted after the two had sex and Dakota "would not get off the phone. Anderson Jr. wanted [Dakota] to leave his residence, she became upset and hit Anderson Jr. in the face, swelling and cutting his bottom lip." Dakota has asked for permission from a Pinellas County judge to travel back to her permanent residence in Los Angeles. She told the Florida police she had been in an "intimate relationship" and co-habitated with Anderson Jr. for six months. While Dakota has no previous domestic violence charges on her record, Anderson Jr. has a rap sheet that includes charges of domestic battery, stalking, felony robbery and trespassing. Dakota told AVN she cannot discuss details of this case until she's spoken with her lawyer, but stated that she wishes "for the industry to understand these things have to be handled in court and to not judge [me] from the state's immediate decision. I'm innocent until proven guilty."
