Mason Captures Lana Rhoades' 1st Blowbang & Gangbang for Hard X

LOS ANGELES—A "first" is a banner event in the career of a rising starlet, and in the case of such a hot commodity as Lana Rhoades, landing her first anything is a bona fide coup. Leave it to AVN Award magnet Mason to procure two of them. Rhoades' very first blowbang and gangbang both unfolded before Mason's camera and will soon be unleashed to the masses on DVD in separate upcoming releases from Hard X/O.L. Entertainment. While the former is already available on the studio's membersip site, HardX.com, it will also be included in the yet-to-street DVD title Facialized 4. The latter will be given a similar staggered release, making its DVD appearance in Gangbang Me 3. To hear Mason tell it, the two scenes—and particularly the gangbang—unveiled a side of the 2017 AVN Hottest Newcomer Fan Award winner that came as a remarkable surprise. "It's been really fun to see her transform into a more gonzo type performer. There's definitely been a switch," Mason told AVN. "I was certainly reluctant ... she kept assuring me that she wanted to experience more intense sex. She said that she had been jealous that her roommate was doing all of these hardcore things and she wanted an opportunity to try it. But I was a little hesitant because this is Lana, she's like a supermodel girl who you wouldn't expect would have those kind of desires. But that's just stereotyping women. I mean, I think women should be able to express themselves and search out their own desires under their own terms, and I think that's what Lana did." She continued, "When I initially shot her, I didn't think she was ready for whatever reason. Then when I did the Facialized [scene] I was like, 'Oh my gosh, this is the real deal. She really wants to do this.'" Rhoades echoed Mason's comments, offering, "I've always had this dirty girl inside of me who desired intense anal, d.p.s and multiple men at once. Mason gave me the chance to finally let this side out to explore and run wild."  Indeed, when they reconvened for the gangbang, Mason said, "I was absolutely blown away by her performance. The guys spontaneously erupted shouting, 'Lana! Lana! Lana!' at the end. I still feel the energy from that scene. We shot about 47 minutes straight through without a cut, and it was just a beautiful symphony of pleasure being exchanged. It's been a week, and I'm still touched by it. The energy is still there." The director noted that Rhoades gets her d.p. itch more than scratched in the scene—for the majority of it, in fact—and the performer herself registered immense satisfaction with the experience. "The scene left me euphoric, it was d.p. heaven!" she gushed. "I'm so proud of what we did. Mason is the only person I would trust to shoot my first gangbang. She understands me as a performer. She knows I don't just want to be seen as a pretty girl who just shows up." In keeping with that sentiment, Mason said she conceptualized the scene as a vignette in which a "bored supermodel tired of being treated superficially walks off set in search of something carnal, a desire from within, to indulge in the unexpected." That unexpectedness, to Mason's mind, is part of what makes Rhoades something of an anomaly in adult, and these two scenes unique treasures in kind. "In my 10-plus years, it's really difficult to think of anyone like Lana," she said. "When has someone as physically beautiful—I would say as close to physical perfection as possible—[been] willing to explore intense gonzo-type sex? You get this once in a decade." She added, "There's definitely a sexual confidence about her that wasn't there when I shot her the first time. It just seems like she's much more in control." "I want to work for success, I want to earn it," Rhoades affirmed. "I have so much passion for what I do. Right now I am the best I have ever been in my career, mind, body and soul."
