Eric Boisvert Joins Mile High Media as Production Manager

LOS ANGELES—Eric Boisvert has joined Mile High Media as the production manager for its family of blue-chip studios. A native of Montreal, where Mile High is headquartered, Boisvert brings almost seven years of TV production experience into the new post. “I started as an assistant director and worked my way up to a director, and directed a couple of shows for TV and Web,” Boisvert told AVN. “The company I worked for then acquired an adult channel, and I directed a few documentaries, shows and movies before leaving them.” Boisvert said a friend of his who worked as an editor for Mile High told him about the opportunity. “At that time I wasn’t sure if I’d want to return to that industry, but I liked what [Mile High VP Jon Blitt] had to say about the company and its direction,” he said. “Jon’s vision for Mile High is what sold it to me. I like where he wants to go with the company. I like the diversity of the studio and the high standards. Jon is innovative in his ways, not afraid of taking risks and shaking things up—all qualities I appreciate in a company. So I had the feeling we’d make a good fit.” In his new role Boisvert said he wants to “give people good porn.” “We have one of the best groups of directors in my opinion that can truly create something great,” he said. “You take Mason, James Avalon, Dana Vespoli, K.K, Bobby Manila and you add to them the amazing creativity of Jacky St. James, the experience of the legendary Robby D. and the magic touch of Mick Blue, we are set for something special.” Among the initial projects Boisvert has taken on include working closely with Robby D. on updating the look of Reality Junkies. “I hope people will love it,” Boisvert said. “You will see all that hard work in Teen Hitchhikers Vol. 3 in December. Soon after, I’ll start working with the other studios.” Mile High's suite of studios also includes Sweetheart Video, Sweet Sinner and Doghouse.
