Wood Rocket Takes on Broadway Hit With 'Hamiltoe'

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif.—The Broadway hip-hop musical Hamilton certainly has dominated the cultural conversation of late. Even before its 16 Tony Award nominations, it was the hottest ticket in New York City. The play has drawn awards like a powerful magnet, picking up a Grammy Award, Drama Desk Awards and the Pulitzer Prize. But what about an AVN Award? Lee Roy Myers believes he can help with that. AVN's 2015 Web Director of the Year is about to give Hamilton the ultimate pop-culture compliment: its own porn parody. His company, Wood Rocket, is now in pre-production on said parody, titled Hamiltoe. “Hamiltoe will be revolutionary. It will be the first hip-hop porn musical spoofing a Broadway show, celebrating a historical figure. And it will have anal sex,” said Myers, the man behind Wood Rocket's myriad sexy spoofs, from Game of Bones to Bob's Boners. Hamiltoe will be directed by Myers, written by comedian Eitan Levine (Elite Daily), produced by Seth's Beard (Strokémon) and will feature music by D-Squared (Ten-Inch Mutant Ninja Turtles). Can Myers find porn gold in a story about one of America's founding fathers? He's already had his way with sitcoms, dramas, sci-fi, horror, reality shows and even cartoons, so why not Broadway?
