Voices of Experience: Cherie DeVille

The May issue of AVN magazine turns the spotlight on 10 bold, confident and assertive female performers who talk about why life gets better after 35. Interviewed here is Cherie DeVille. Even though I’m not a mom the acronym is still relevant! Its all about being a super sexual fuckable older woman.   You're hardly an “older woman” in real life, so what is it like playing that role in porn? Well I’m no spring chicken!! I think 37 is a good age for a MILF. Basically I think you have to be old enough to have teenage kids with horny friends that fantasies about fucking you.   How long do you want to stay in the business? I will stay as long as I’m having fun and people keep booking me!! Hopefully that will be many years to come. What are your favorite types of movies? I love older younger “teach me” movies. I get to be dominant while still remaining sensual. Are there directors who are particularly skilled in bringing out the sensuality of older women? Lots of companies do older younger films once in a while but Girlsway has an entire site dedicated to MILFs!! Its called MommysGirl.com! I love going on the Girlsway forums and reading what the fans like and don’t like about my scenes and the fetish in general. That way I can try and hone my MILF skills and make the best product possible! So much of porn seems geared toward a steady flow of 18- to 20-year old newbies who are here today and gone tomorrow. Do you find that with the benefit of experience, you navigate the business differently in terms of getting work, building a fan base and planning your future? I am not sure why so many young women come into porn and only stay for a few months. It's a career with a lot of pros and cons. Some may not have weighed all the cons before jumping into porn and then they realize too late that they don’t like it. I say too late because if you do one scene or one hundred you are still on the internet having sex, which in our current culture limits future jobs and can carry a negative social stigma.
