Celebration of Fetish Films Throws Fifth Anniversary Bash

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—The Los Angeles Fetish Film Festival will be celebrating its fifth year with a two-day bash on November 13-14. Adamandeve.com is proud to sponsor the festival that brings together film, fetish, fashion, art, and performance in a way that's not to be missed. Photographers, filmmakers, models, and notable members of the BDSM community will be in attendance at Stockroom Studios on Friday night to enjoy film screenings, live performances, and more. This first night of screenings is hosted by Mistress Bella Bathory and Cat DeCuir, and will include films by Eric Minh Swenson, Robert E. Ball, Rico J. Coria, Klaus and Hans Hindenburg, and James Avalon. A performance by The Nylon Girls inspired by fetish poet Dennis Cruz, contortion burlesque presented by Katy Walters, and a fashion show costumed by Syren Latex will highlight the event. A curated selection of artists will round out the evening, including the sculpture work of Nim Nova. Special guests are rumored to include famed photographer Justice Howard. Friday evening's gala will be followed by a night of celebration at Saturday night Hollywood staple Bar Sinister. The gothic glitz of this nightclub is a perfect match for the erotic sensibilities of the festival. Hosted by Snow Mercy and Kent Kaliber, the night will be studded by live performances, including Cat DeCuir's "Ode to Pleasure and Pain," glam-rock band Timur and the Dime Museum, a Nylon Girls play performance, and aerialist Lena Fumi. Scores of beautiful fetish models will be in attendance to hand out the awards from the previous night's screenings, and attendees will also be treated to an open play area. Now in its fifth year, the festival has given fetish art a chance in the spotlight. "The erotic is something that often gets glossed over in society. The festival has really opened doors for a lot of creativity to flow," said festival founder Michael Simmons. "It allows for the filmmakers and artists to explore sides of themselves that often get censored, and I'm really thrilled to see what it has grown into." The Los Angeles Fetish Film Festival has become a staple of the local kink scene, and ticket availability has been known to run low. Tickets for Friday's 21+ screenings are being sold in advance on LosAngelesFetishFilmFestival.com, and a small number have been reserved for sale at the door. Entry for Saturday's party can be purchased separately, and is open to adults 18 and older. For more information, please visit LosAngelesFetishFilmFestival.com or email founder Michael Simmons. Tickets are available here.
