Nikki Phoenix Hits Hempfest, Ships 'Pretty Kitties'

LAS VEGAS—Adult performer Nikki Phoenix, who is also half of the music act JackELd Phoenix, has just inked her first festival performance booking. She and her duo partner, JackEL, are scheduled to headline at Las Vegas Hempfest, which takes place October 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Also at the fest are Tommy Chong, Kottonmouth Kings, Israel Vibration, Afroman and other acts. The performance will feature circus acts as well as their singing and music including the recently released song "Your Smile," which has already received almost 2.8 million plays on Soundcloud. "JackEL and I, and our label have been floored by the response from our friends, industry supporters, EDM fans and DJs," said Phoenix. "It's been an awesome experience appearing at clubs across the country in support of our music and seeing such a positive response from our fans and the EDM community. It's also gratifying to see that these days, fans seem to see people as artists, and not label people as 'adult' or 'mainstream.' This month was also busy for Phoenix in the adult market space. The second title in her DVD distribution deal with Juicy Entertainment—Pretty Kitties, featuring Capri Cavanni, Allison Moore, Alexa Nova, Taylor May, Eva Long, Ariel Winters, Frida Sante and Hannah Hartman—began shipping today, coinciding with her first release Candy Lickers being picked up for broadcast in the same week.
