Fabian Thylmann Accused of Evading Taxes

COLOGNE, Germany—A Cologne prosecutor reportedly expects to try Fabian Thylmann. a former principal with Manwin, in the District Court of Aachen on charges of tax evasion. While the news was published in various German news outlets, it is unclear how soon a trial could begin. Thylmann was arrested in Belgium and police raided Manwin’s Hamburg offices in December 2012, taking several computers, files and other information. Thylmann was extradited to Germany and eventually paid 10 million Euros to return to his home, wife and children in Belgium before a possible trial. Now, it seems prosecutors might be ready to proceed with the trial. In October 2013, Thylmann sold his stake in Manwin to “top management,” and issued a statement saying he was no longer associated with the company. Manwin owns various major adult brands, including Brazzers, Digital Playground, Reality Kings, YouPorn and PornHub, and the company also manages Playboy's web and broadcast properties. Its various arms are registered in Luxembourg, Germany, Canada, Cyprus, the United States and Ireland.   AVN will update this story as details become available.
