Riverdale Avenue Publishes Fifty Shades of Grey-Related Titles

RIVERDALE, N.Y.—Hybrid publisher Riverdale Avenue Books has published five new Fifty Shades of Grey-related titles (and is updating a sixth) to tie in with the release of the blockbuster Hollywood film. “Fifty Shades of Grey is a cultural phenomena, and a major turning point for erotic content in American popular culture,” said RAB Publisher Lori Perkins.  “We are thrilled to be a part of the conversation, and how the dialogue continues.” New York Times best-selling author Marc Shapiro has updated his unauthorized biography of the mega best-selling Fifty Shades of Grey author in The Secret Life of EL James (http://riverdaleavebooks.com/books/51...), in which he literally gives readers a step-by-step guide to how she wrote and marketed her trilogy.  The biography is also available as an audio title; translation rights have been sold in Russia and Portugal. Shapiro returns to the Fifty Shades well to write two new riveting bios about the lead actors in the movie. In The Real Steele: The Unauthorized Biography of Dakota Johnson, Shapiro found her first acting coach in an exclusive interview (http://riverdaleavebooks.com/books/51...). Shapiro also has a new biography of the Christian Grey actor; in Inside Grey’s Anatomy: The Unauthorized Biography of Jamie Dornan (http://riverdaleavebooks.com/books/51...), he chronicles Dornan’s Irish childhood and successful international modeling career before his TV and film success. In 50 Shades of Pink, lesbian pop culture writer KT Grant tells the story from a lesbian perspective set in the world of New York City publishing. Riverdale Avenue Books also presents 50 Shades of Gay by Jeffery Self, which made the No. 1 spot on the Amazon Gay and Lesbian Bestseller list (http://riverdaleavebooks.com/books/27...). 50 Shades of Gay retells the tale from an M/M perspective, set in Hollywood. Riverdale Avenue Books will also be launching a new mystery line this month, Dagger. The line’s first title is Fifty Shades of Grey Fedora, an anthology edited by the Private Eye Writers of America, with new stories by the likes of Sara Paretsky, John Lutz, Parnell Hall and others. Riverdale Avenue Books is currently offering a free sample of 50 erotica authors in Beyond 50, featuring the works of Laura Antoniou, Cecilia Tan and many others. The book is available on the RAB website (http://riverdaleavebooks.com/books/5165/beyond-50), as well as Amazon, Banes & Noble, Kobo, Smashwords, iTunes, and other online merchants.
