Wall Street Intern Makes Leap of Faith Into Porn

LOS ANGELES—A former Wall Street intern has apparently quit her job in order to pursue a career in porn. A recent college grad, Paige A. Jennings worked at Lazard Asset Management until her sudden departure earlier this month. Now, she wants to be known as Veronica Vain, and if her comments to BroBible are accurate, the stunning redhead with a head for business, an infatuation with Kayden Kross and a self-professed inability to refrain from masturbating at the office is headed to Las Vegas next week, just in time for the Adult Entertainment Expo. According to Business Insider, "Jennings worked as a part-time intern in Lazard's alternative investments marketing group in New York. She was with Lazard from June 2, 2014 until Jan. 9, 2015." The reason for her departure was made public on Monday by the site NewsCult.com, which reported that "an anonymous source has revealed ... that [Vain] has decided to make a go at porn. While she was in fact not dismissed from her job her previous superiors have yet to discover that she had been posting naked selfies of herself inside the company’s bathrooms on Lazard’s time." The article included the selfies, which had been posted to Vain's Twitter account and later removed by her. It was also shortly after she left the firm that she also changed her Twitter bio to read, “I just left a job on Wall Street for a porn career because I can’t stop masturbating at work and would rather get cum all over my face. Is that cool with you?” In her interview with BroBible, Vain says that by the time her employer found out about the selfies, she had already given notice. "My boss’s boss called me over the phone with an HR lady," she said. "I had a pretty good reputation intellectually, and this executive was aware of that. However, he obviously couldn’t have me coming back to the office when likely just about everyone had seen me half naked online. I definitely didn’t expect that to happen though considering nothing online was tagged to my real name, so it was jarring in the sense that this whole decision suddenly became very, very real. I feel like I’m living some kind of dream, honestly. This is the kind of stuff no one ever thinks would happen to them." Ironically, Vain says that it the late Steve Jobs, a notorious hater of porn, who was the unwitting inspiration for her decision to pursue a career in adult entertainment, when he commented during his 2005 commencement address at Stanford University, “You’ve got to find what you love." She told BroBible, ”I thought long and hard about this, and as silly as it may seem, I could not think of anything that I love doing more than having sex, reading and learning about sex, talking about sex with other people … and I knew that I would probably be most successful if I could surround myself with sex and be accepted for it. Society is really so against sexuality in the public sphere, despite how well it sells. I dislike stigmatizing something that is such a source of happiness and fulfillment and such a natural part of life." Vain says she is "currently in talks with several studios and agents and weighing my options, but I’m really hoping to make my debut on The Sex Factor," for which she says she  is "going to the final casting call in Las Vegas." She has also reportedly gained a number of new Twitter followers in the past few days. And a perusal of her account shows a very recent tweet from Brazzers: "@TheVeronicaVain just saw your article on @BroBible, I'd like to formally introduce you to @BrazzerYancee." Vain sounds nothing if not ambitious, telling Bro Bible when asked what drew her to porn, "Well, for one, if you met me you would know that I’m kind of a high profile person. I am sheer balls-to-the-wall fearless." Fearless is probably a good quality to have for someone whose most recent tweet proclaims, "I left finance because if I'm going to take it up the ass for a decade, I'd prefer to get in to a hall of fame for it." But she also seems to be pursuing her dream by dropping all the right names, telling BroBible, "I have a Brazzers subscription (buy your porn!), so right now I would really like to work with Johnny Sins, James Deen, Keiran Lee, and Jordan Ash. They are such professionals and awesome to watch." So here's to fearless redheads who prefer sex to finance, the cojones to make the leap from Wall Street to Porn Street, and the smarts to understand that people need to buy their porn!
