CalExotics CEO Susan Colvin Honored for Lifetime Achievements

LOS ANGELES—Susan Colvin founded, and is the president and CEO, of California Exotic Novelties, the nation's leading manufacturer of adult toys and novelties. Since 1994, the company has been at the forefront of research and development of products to enhance the sexual experiences of women, men and couples. In recognition of all that she has done for the pleasure products industry, Colvin wil be the recipient of the "O" Award's Lifetime Achievement Award, an honor that has been bestowed on a select number of individuals. With a strong work ethic and a passion for empowering women and couples, Colvin revolutionized the pleasure product industry. She developed the first toys in pink and purple colors and packaged them to appeal to women and couples. She intuitively understood pleasure products and developed a long list of innovations including the first: waterproof, rechargeable, wireless toys and more. As an innovator and pioneer, Susan and her companies have been honored with many awards. As her company has grown to extraordinary proportions, Colvin, with a penchant for organization, has continued to be a hands-on owner and maintains a personal relationship with every one of her customers.
