Madness, Morgan Bring Talent Representation to 'Nexxxt Level'

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Industry veterans Andre Madness and Jonathan Morgan have started a new talent representation agency, Nexxxt Level. "We picked that name because we felt that we were going to take not only ourselves but the clients we represent to the next level," Morgan told AVN. "We're hoping to change people's perceptions of what adult talent agency management is. We're building a better mousetrap. We started working on it in January of 2014 when we started investigating and checking how to build the best agency out there." Madness and Morgan plan Nexxxt Level as a boutique agency, with hands-on management for a selected group of talent. "We want to make a difference in people's lives and give them guidance to a successful career," Madness said. "When it's all said and done, they'll have choices and opportunities. When the phone stops ringing, we don't want our clients wondering 'What next?'" "You're looking at 40-plus years of experience between the two of us," Morgan continued. "We've seen the ups and downs, all the pitfalls. Whenever you go into a job, you have to be properly trained and shown how to do the best at that job. You have to know how this job is done. How to be a professional. How to have on-set etiquette. How you have sex at home and how you have sex on the set are two different things. Unless you're taught how to do it on set, it's not going to look right." Nexxxt Level is also taking a different look at talent representation contracts: "We don't have these girls sign long-term contracts," Morgan said. "If we make you money, you stay with us. If we stop making you money, I don't blame you if you leave." "There are certain legalities involved in signing contracts, and we have to do an exclusive," Madness explained. "However, we make it clear that there is a mutual out: If they're not happy or feel they can do better, we can end the contract." Also, Nexxxt Level will not charge producers booking fees for placing their clients. "We work for our clients," Morgan said. "If you hire our clients, that's awesome, but we aren't going to charge above and beyond. We'll be fair and competitive, but with us you aren't just paying for somebody to walk onto your set. You're paying for what we represent, and what our clients represent. You, as a director, will be extremely happy, and your fans are going to be wowed by what they see. " Performer Kleio Valentien is "the face of Nexxxt Level," Morgan said. "She is the embodiment of what we are looking for in a client. Not just because I represent her, I'm saying this as a director. This is a woman who is not only a complete professional when she's on the set—she shows up on time, she has her wardrobe, she has her dialogue down, she has her documents—but when she does a sex scene, she is breathtaking. When I was shooting her, the crew was jaws-on-the-ground." "They're helping me reach those producers who never thought of me except in that little tattooed-chick box," Valentien said. "They're helping me get past that." The boutique mindset at Nexxxt Level extends to administration, with Morgan and Madness currently the only agency employees as they continue their production work. "I'm only directing one movie a month. It's not like my time is taken," Morgan pointed out. "As the agency becomes larger, Andre will start to pare down the smaller things he's doing, as a freelance cameraman and production manager as well as a top-notch director. We're only two, but we've got a lot of chutzpah." The agency is already licensed and bonded, and its website, NexxxtLevel.com, is online with contact information.
