ED Publications Announces Gentlemen's Club Expo Location

MIAMI, Fla.—ED Publications, in its latest e-newsletter, has announced the location of the 2015 Gentlemen's Club Expo, which for the past 20 years has been held in Las Vegas: It's New Orleans. The convention will run from August 23-26. "After having the Expo in Las Vegas for the past 20 years—12 of which were held at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino—it was just time for a breath of fresh air,” said ED’s Associate Publisher Dave Manack, who added that the city is "filled with historic landmarks, incredible food—and, of course, the legendary Bourbon Street." Among the festivities planned for the convention, which attracts adult nightclub owners, staff and dancers from around the country and even internationally, is a "pub crawl," which is expected to hit many of the adult clubs in the area which are "located within mere feet of one another" in the French Quarter. "The Expo 2015 Opening Night Bourbon Street Pub Crawl will begin with a one-hour reception at the host hotel (Hilton Riverside), followed by visits at four top New Orleans adult clubs each hour, on the hour," the newsletter stated. "How will Expo attendees get from the Hilton to the first club on the Pub Crawl? We'll all follow our very own jazz band procession down Bourbon Street, of course!" Crawled pubs will include the Penthouse Club, Rick's Cabaret, Larry Flynt's Hustler Club and Babe's Cabaret. Also on deck for the Expo's final day will be a "chill party" with a very special twist. "Expo 2015's 'Chill Day,' following a morning of legal panels, will be held on the Steamboat Natchez, the last authentic steamboat on the mighty Mississippi," Manack wrote. "Expo attendees will take a two-hour, catered cruise around the Mississippi on the legendary Steamboat Natchez, which also boasts a large air-conditioned area in the center of the boat. "It is in this air-conditioned central area that we'll hold the first-ever Expo 'Pirate’s Booty' contest," he continued. "Guests and entertainers are encouraged to don their favorite pirate gear, as we celebrate 'booty' in all its glory! Cash prizes will be awarded to contest finalists." And of course, there'll be the Exotic Dancer Awards, which Manack wrote will be in "a brand new home in the most historic theater in all of New Orleans—the Civic Theatre. Built in 1906, the Civic Theatre is a beautiful historic structure, and care has been taken at every step to preserve these details. Original touches, such as the beaux arts plaster work that graces the stage and balconies, connect contemporary theatergoers with past generations who first enjoyed the theater."
