Dana Vespoli Earns 21 Noms for the 2015 AVN Awards

VENICE, CA — When Dana Vespoli sits down at a table of food later this week, she’ll have plenty to be thankful for, including 19 more nominations for the 2015 AVN Awards. Add to that her two in the previously-announced fan voting categories and she has a total of 21, five more than she had for the 2014 AVN Awards.The long list of noms not only wraps up a year of shooting for Vespoli, but also again shows her diversity as a director. In addition to a nomination for Director of the Year, she has three nominations for Best All-Girl Series and two for All-Girl Release. She’s also up for Best Drama, Best Interracial Release, Best Non-Feature, Best Specialty Release — Other Genre and Best Older Woman/Younger Girl Release.She also performed in scenes nominated for Most Outrageous Sex Scene (with Kayden Kross) and Best Transsexual Sex Scene (with Venus Lux). She also starred in every scene of Best Interracial Release nominee Back in Black.“I’m in the very fortunate position of being able to shoot anything I want for Evil Angel and am lucky that a lot of people seem to dig what I come up with,” Vespoli said. “I also appreciate the opportunities I have shooting for Sweetheart and think we’ve done some great movies together.
