Carter Cruise Tapped as Face of Airerose Entertainment

Beginning this month, popular up-and-coming star Carter Cruise will have a new job: official spokesperson for popular up-and-coming studio Airerose Entertainment. "We're pretty much going to be making her the face of the company," said Adam Hasner, the executive in charge of Airerose. "We're going to be creating a new style for a showcase title we'll be shooting with her in it." Cruise is hardly a stranger to Airerose. She's appeared in and on the box covers of two of the company's recent releases, Sorority Car Wash and Pure 2. Plus, she's shot for such high-profile companies as Girlfriends Films, New Sensations/Digital Sin, Wicked Pictures and Forbidden Fruits Films—not a bad mix for someone who's only been in the industry for just over a year. "August of last year was my first shoot," Carter noted. "I was only doing it part time because I was still in college and I wanted to wait till I was done—but as soon as class was over on Fridays, I would literally grab my clothes, get on a plane, fly to Miami, work for the weekend, fly back, buy clothes for school, so I hardly had a second to myself." The 23-year-old Georgia native shot her first movie in California shortly before Christmas of 2013, but by the time the 2014 AVN Adult Entertainment Expo and AVN Awards Show rolled around the following month, "I kind of realized that if I wanted to make a career out of performing, I needed to be out here in California, so that's when I moved out here, right after AVN," she said. But it was while attending the IVD warehouse show in September, as a representative of New Sensations, that Carter met Hasner, who'd previously heard about her from publicist Mike Kulich. "While I was there, I met Adam and we got along really well, so I signed on for the gig, and we will help each other grow," she explained. "They're a new company, and I think I can help them because I'm starting to have a little bit of a name in the industry, and I can help advertise for them, and then they're actually going to be doing a lot of advertising for me as well as I promote their brand." Hasner agreed wholeheartedly. "She has a great personality," he noted. "She's an up-and-coming fresh face in the industry. She works hard, and I just thought it would be a good fit. She's on the ball; she interacts and gets along well with everyone. I haven't heard one bad thing about her, and when you meet her, it's like, ‘Wow, she's really cool!’” And what will Carter be doing for Airerose? "I'm going to be writing a couple of blogs for them, which is great because I love to write," she said, adding sheepishly, "and I'm glad that I have now someone telling me I have to do it because I always put it off, you know, so I was excited about that. And I think that I'll be helping them a lot on social media, and then I'll be in their advertisements in AVN and all that." But that's not all—not by a long shot. "Carter will be involved in the product itself," Hasner said. "Even though she'll be non-exclusive as far as the product's concerned, so anyone can shoot her and she can shoot for all companies, we're going to be shooting her a lot and promoting those movies, and she'll be heavily involved with the promotions of those movies, along with the other movies that we are coming out with for Airerose." Hasner also plans to have Carter make personal appearances to promote the company and its products, though he'll have to plan such trips around her shooting schedule. Plus, he has in mind a series of contests for her and the company's Twitter followers, such as "Win a Phone Call With Carter Cruise." And though she's already agreed to spend time signing autographs at the Girlfriends booth at the AEE, Hasner said that Airerose plans to sponsor an industry-only party at the start of the convention, and Carter will be one of the hostesses—though he cautioned, "I don't know if that's set in stone yet." "Since her contract starts November 1, we're kind of going through the motions of setting everything up right now, like scheduling what we need her to do for us, promotion-wise, so we don't skip a beat. We might have her on set doing some behind-the-scenes interviewing, even though she won't necessarily be in the movie that's shooting. We'll also be having someone follow her around for a while, and we'll be posting clips of things she's doing throughout the day." Sounds like Carter will be pretty busy fulfilling all of her obligations, but her ever-present smile should draw plenty of attention to both herself and the Airerose products she'll be promoting.
