Ashton Kutcher Protects Daughter's Name from Web Pornification

CYBERSPACE—Actor Ashton Kutcher, the OG of tech-conscious celebs, who last month experienced the birth of his daughter with fiancée Mila Kunis, went on Conan yesterday, where he was asked about life as a first-time father, how they picked the baby's unique name, Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher, and other cutesy new-dad stuff. At the end of a long spiel about how they picked the name, however, Kutcher also mentioned what they did the second a name was agreed upon. "We immediately went home and reserved all the domain names," he told Conan. "Like www dot Wyatt Kutcher, www dot Wyatt Isabel... We got the Twitter handle, the Instagram, everything you could possibly . . ." "It never occurred to me that that's something people would do now," Conan interjected. To which Kutcher responded in mock ire, "I don’t want a porn site with my daughter’s name on it!” With the audience erupting in laughter, he continued, “It is unacceptable to me... It’s not going to happen... it's not going to happen." A funny moment, to be sure, but that last "It's not going to happen" suggests Kutcher's precautions were not made for laughs. You can also bet he's scrupulous about what sort of content he allows to be uploaded to a cloud, and is hopefully helping his wife-to-be get a handle on keeping her phone from being hacked. Celebuzz.com has a video of the segment.
