Canada's Sex-Shop Television To Rebrand Vanessa TV As VividTV

LOS ANGELES—Canadian adult broadcaster Sex-Shop Television Inc. will rebrand its popular Vanessa TV service as VividTV in a new partnership venture with the multichannel television division of Vivid Entertainment, one of the world’s leading adult film companies. The change will be effective October 28. Sex-Shop Television chief executive officer Anne-Marie Losique will head the channel, which will offer programming in both French and English. The channel will provide the most popular Vanessa TV programming, along with the highest quality content from Vivid, the most famous franchise in modern adult entertainment. "In collaboration with Vivid Entertainment, we will be able to offer what will be unquestionably the broadest and highest quality adult viewing packages in Canada," said Ms. Losique. "This is an exciting new venture for our company. Our viewers will get the best of both worlds. " Sex-Shop Television Inc., the owner of Vanessa TV, is licensed by the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) to provide "television programming service devoted to the themes of charm, sensuality, eroticism and sexuality." VanessaTV was launched on October 28, 2010. Vivid has won more awards than any company in the history of the adult industry, and has one of the largest film archives of any single adult studio. It has become known for its widely publicized celebrity sex tape movies starring such names as Kim Kardashian, Kendra Wilkinson, Montana Fishburne, Tila Tequila and several others. Other popular titles from Vivid include parodies of comic superheroes, dramas and such series such as Brand New Faces and 100 % Real Swingers.
