Smash's 'Owner Gets Clipped' Wraps

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Smash Pictures' take on the Donald Sterling controversy, Owner Gets Clipped, has completed production, and is slated to arrive on DVD June 26. Helmed by AVN Hall of Famer Jim Powers, the movie stars fellow Hall of Famers Kyle Stone and Nina Hartley as the shamed L.A. Clippers owner and his litigious ex-wife, with Yasmine DeLeon as the incriminating tape-leaking "Z." This marks Stone's first sex role after an extended hiatus, though he has contnued to act regularly in non-sex parts, including the comedic turn in Wicked Pictures' Hotel No Tell that earned him this year's AVN Award for Best Non-Sex Performance. In Owner Gets Clipped, Stone is paired with both DeLeon and newcomer Harley Dean. Hartley, meanwhile, contributes two scenes of her own, taking on DeLeon herself as well as trusty woodsman Jon Jon. In addition, DeLeon performs a third scene with industry vet Mark Anthony. "Kyle did great," Powers told AVN. "Much like Donald Sterling himself, he was really invigorated by that black pussy. It's like Ponce de León finding the Fountain of Youth. It think that's all Sterling was really looking for." He continued, "Kyle was about to retire down to Florida; he's tired of being a cuckold, he's tired of being abused, and we talked to him, and I said, 'Kyle, let's get you back in the movie business, you're the perfect guy,' and he went along with it." Though Stone isn't one of them this time out, there are three non-sex actors in the cast: Rebecca Bardoux (as Barbara Walters), Logan Pierce (as Anderson Cooper) and Rose Red.
