Adult Stars Join Director Miles Long for Birthday Party at Colony

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.—AVN Hall of Famer Miles Long celebrates another year around the sun with a birthday party at the Hollywood nightclub Colony this Saturday night. There to help him blow out the candles will be a quartet of beautiful adult stars. The past year has given Long plenty to celebrate, including adult and mainstream projects that kept him busy in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas. In addition to the director's DVD and internet work, he has been publishing photographs in both mainstream and adult magazines, with multiple layouts in adult magazines this month as well as two additional layouts running in upcoming issues of mainstream magazines. On top of his campaigns for mainstream clients in Las Vegas, he is shooting the catalog this month for Twala Intimates, a Seattle-based lingerie company. "I like to say that I have really been lucky over the years. Thanks to my drive, work ethic and my many mentors, I have really been able to thrive, even when markets have been difficult in one area or another," Long said. "I think luck is really a combination of experience and opportunity—if you have both, then you are what people call lucky," he added, "just as I have done in the adult photography and video markets, I knew that I just had to find the right arenas to showcase the style of photography work that I have become known for. ...
