Exxxotica’s Atlantic City Debut Reports Success

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J.—Exxxotica Atlantic City, which took place at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino & Resort this past weekend, had fans, exhibitors, stars and media all expressing positive reviews about the adult expo, show organizers report.   With advance ticket sales that more than doubled previous shows, walk-up attendance, and the convention floor packed with exhibitors, adult stars and attendees, the expo exceeded expectations, according to Victory Tradeshow Management.  The Etess Arena featured exhibitors ranging from adult movies and novelties, to artists, teeth whitening, gentlemen’s clubs, innovative products and over 150 adult film and web stars. CLUB Spotlight, LA Direct Models, HotMovies, Clips4Sale, and Star Valley were just some of the exhibitors that featured top names in adult entertainment.  The AEBN entertainment stage featured daily performances from the likes of Rubberdoll, Rigor Mortis Revue, Evan Stone, DJ Geenius, The Benson Twins, Savage Men, adult star panels and the Ms. EXXXOTICA competition. The seminar area also entertained with discussions on topics such as breaking into the business, improving your sex life, swinging and more lead by stars such as James Deen, Goddess Sonya and Tera Patrick.  The first-ever Exxxotica Fan Choice Awards saw a sold-out crowd fill the Grand Ballroom. Hosted by comedians and hosts of VH1’s That Metal Show, Jim Florentine and Don Jamieson, along with their co-hostess, Alexis Texas, kept the evening moving with a night of presenters, stage shows from the likes of Stoya, Rubberdoll and the Peek-A-Boo Revue, and of course, the winners.  Over 100 stars attended the awards show and walked the pink carpet (hosted by Allie Haze) that also saw celebrities such as Playboy covergirl/WWE Diva and Survivor: China star Ashley Massaro, pro wrestler Snitsky and Amish Mafia cast member Crazy Dave present awards.  “It’s funny to think that AC was one of the first locations we considered when we first started Exxxotica in 2005,” said J. Handy, the show's director. “Fast forward eight years later and we're no longer aspiring to create an event—we've created one, and it's the best in the industry.”  When the show closed, the Atlantic City nightlife treated fans to official after parties at hot spots all over the city at venues such as Dusk at Caesars, Ivan Kane’s Royal Jelly Burlesque Club at Revel, the Diving Horse and Bare Exposure with an all-star roster of stars hosting, including James Deen, Tera Patrick, Allie Haze, Alexis Texas, Teagan Presley, Lisa Ann, Lexi Belle and Kristina Rose.  Exhibitors also reported success at Exxxotica.  “A focused and well-presented event which affirmed how mainstream the industry should be considered.,” commented Neil Wallace of Wami LLC.  “I am in my second year of doing Exxxotica shows," said Will Brown of Goldreallas. "It has helped us build the brand faster then any other marketing campaign we use. We always see a spike in sales on our website after each show from the area we were in. We have also picked up some big B2B accounts that have pushed our sales and grown our brand all over the country,” Jason Jones of Inked Angels added, “A great event where people of different races, sexual orientations, and views can come together and be who they want to be without any negativity!”  “The CLUB Spotlight booth had its largest contingent ever of stars, and they loved meeting the fans,” reflected Daniel Adams, editor of CLUB Magazine. “It was a who’s who of adult featuring over 20 stars who made the trip to make this our most successful show ever.”  Plans are already underway for a return to Atlantic City in 2014, but next on the calendar is the expo's eighth year back in the South Florida area when it comes to the Broward County Convention Center in Ft.
