Pleasure Chest, Fun Factory Present Sex Ed in Spanish

LOS ANGELES—Adult retailer The Pleasure Chest and luxury toy company Fun Factory have joined forces to present “El Sexo: Basico,” a Spanish-language sex education workshop for adults, to be taught at The Pleasure Chest’s flagship West Hollywood store on December 5. Fun Factory Director of Business Development Memo De La Vega said, “We are delighted to be a part of this initiative since the U.S. is already the fourth largest Spanish speaking country in the world! This is a great opportunity to reach out to a large and underserved part of the Los Angeles community, to a demographic that is often shy about discussing sex. By having these workshops in Spanish and in a fun and positive environment like the Pleasure Chest, we can promote communication and better relationships while fostering a healthy attitude toward sex." “El Sexo Basico” will provide an overview of using adult toys to enhance sexual intimacy. The discussion will also cover condoms, lubricants, safer sex practices and tips for solo and partner play. The workshop will be held next Wednesday from 8 to 10 p.m. Admission is free.
