VNA Girl Angelina Castro Celebrates 30th B-Day

MIAMI—Cuban born porn star Angelina Castro is celebrating her 30th Birthday Bash in style… with family, friends and her website members—a live Cuban Tetas Birthday Bash Event on Thursday, September 6 at 7pm EST—plus a giveaway of free cam sessions to fans. In addition to the live event, anyone who joins Angelina Castro's site by Sunday, September 9 at 7pm EST will get a free 15 minute one-on-one session with Angelina. The Birthday Bash comes as many in the Cuban/Latino community are up in arms following an appearance by Castro in August on Radio Marti—a radio station funded by the United States of America that highlights the virtues of democracy and free market economics to the Cuban community. Castro's appearance on the mainstream station funded with US tax dollars has sparked a furor with numerous demands to have her interview pulled, which it eventually was.  Castro appeared on "1800-Online," a show that "uncovers the world of the internet for Cubans who have hardly or never seen it," co-hosted by the son of the Juan Almeida, one of the original Commanders of the Cuban revolution. A former Cuban political prisoner, Angel Cuadra, was so outraged that he wrote a blog post criticizing Castro's appearance, saying that her website ":showcases the grossest scenes of pornography," and it was "embarrassing" to see her work promoted on a station set up to help democracy. Castro, of course, has made headlines all year. Most recently she was part of the #TeamBJ twitter sensation with adult star Sara Jay—pledging to give followers oral sex if the Miami Heat won the NBA title. The resulting press and publicity was worldwide…with mentions on CNN's Piers Morgan show and an appearance FX Network's the Russell Brand Show—not to mention threats from the National Basketball Association ('NBA') to sue. Angelina Castro also was named one of XBIZ's Top 100 Newsmakers in 2011. She is part of Vicky Vette's popular VNA Girls Network, is nominated as Best Latina in the upcoming Nightmoves Awards, in Tampa, Florida, and is a frequent guest on other mainstream Spanish television outlets such as Telemundo.  "I am happy to turn 30," said Castro.
