Pleasure Chest Has Pride Next Month

LOS ANGELES—Next month, the City of Los Angeles will celebrate LGBTQ pride centering on the annual Pride parade June 10 in West Hollywood. Adult toy retailer The Pleasure Chest, which has been a fixture in the gay community inWest Hollywood for 40 years, will honor the month with a series of free workshops focused on LGBTQ sexuality and a very special Pride Ride bicycle tour of gay and lesbian hot spots. Here is a schedule of events: 1:30-4 p.m. Saturday, June 2: Pleasure Chest Pride Ride Ruffle your rainbows and grab your glitter as The Pleasure Chest takes you on a bicycle tour celebrating all things queer as a three dollar bill! They will hone in on some of West Hollywood's historic homo spots, give away fantastic prizes and encounter some exotic personalities along the route.   8-10 p.m. Wednesday, June 6: Strap-On, Get Off: An “Edutainment” Workshop Welcome aboard FU*K Airlines! Whether you are a tourist visiting for the first time or a seasoned traveler, this 45-minute flight will be sure to educate and entertain you.
