Severe Society Films, Kelly Shibari on Playboy, Spice Radio This Week

LOS ANGELES—Severe Society Films co-owners Dee Severe (aka Mistress D) and Jimmy Broadway, along with PaddedKINK owner Kelly Shibari, will be appearing on Playboy Radio’s “Night Calls” with Nicki Hunter and Debi Diamond (Sirius/XM 102) on Tuesday, May 1 at 8pm Eastern / 5:00 Pacific. In addition to general discussions on the world of fetish with the notoriously kinky Hunter and Diamond, Severe, Broadway and Shibari will be discussing their current collaborations, which include bringing PaddedKINK as well as The Charles Gatewood Archive to DVD for the first time. “It’s always great to be back on “Night Calls,” commented Broadway. “In addition to having worked with both Nicki and Debi previously, we are also friends with both ladies. Gatewood trained his camera on underground scenes, from the Beats and the dark alleys of 1970s Mardi Gras to modern primitives and extreme sexual fetishists. "A photographic anthropologist at the fringes of Western culture," the fetish photographer who has collaborated with William Burroughs, Spider Webb and Fakir Musafar, among others, has been chronicling the "seedier side" of American life for over three decades and includes capturing iconic images of the HellFire Club, Mardi Gras, and New York, Amsterdam, New Orleans and San Francisco's party, drug, and gay scenes.
