Singer Brian McKnight Invited to Perform at 2013 AVN Awards

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—R&B crooner Brian McKnight ventured into new, risqué territory when he published a video on YouTube this week previewing a new x-rated song, and stated his desire to produce an "adult mix tape."AVN, recognizing McKnight's superior vocal ability and songwriting skills, has offered the singer the opportunity to perform his song, If You're Ready to Learn, at the 2013 AVN Awards. Next year's AVN Awards promises to be the biggest and best ever as the venerable show celebrate its 30th anniversary. McKnight's song, which includes the lyrics "Let me show you how your pussy works/Did you know that it could squirt?" would be ideal for the adult crowd that attends the world famous awards show. TMZ.com picked up on the invitation, noting that McKnight has been asked to perform at the "Oscars of Porn" and that he's received other offers from adult companies, including YouPorn.con, which reached out to the singer seeking to license the song as background music for its website. McKnight told the site he isn't sure what direction he's planning on taking his new explicit venture."I don't know what specifically I will do with this track in the future ... and I don't see myself ever performing it live, but I am flattered that people have embraced it and are having as much fun with it as I am," he told TMZ.com.
