UPDATE: Stephen Hawking, Physicist, Cosmologist, Swinger

THE SWINGING COSMOS—The good news is physicist Stephen Hawking is feeling better after being forced  to miss a fete last month celebrating the opening of new exhibit at the London Science Museum called Stephen Hawking: A 70th Birthday Celebration. But the better news is that the 70-year-old Cambridge University professor is feeling so good that this month he not only visited the museum, but he also took in a Devore, California swingers club. It wasn't his first time, reported Radar Online, which broke the story. "According to a source who has been a member of Freedom Acres swingers club for nearly half a decade," reported the gossip site, "Hawking... shows up to the club with a bevy of nurses and assistants and has naked woman grind on him." The source tattled, "I have seen Stephen Hawking at the club more than a handful of times... Last time I saw him he was in the back 'play area' laying on a bed fully clothed with two naked women gyrating all over him." Hawking is twice-married and currently divorced, so it's not like he's cheating on anyone at the swinger's club, which would be doubly egregious. From the account provided by Radar Online's source, it sounds like the brilliant theoretical physicist is not shy about his erotic interests, and openly interacts with other members of the club.  "I have spoken to him on several occasions and have even shared drinks with people in his group," the insider said. "And he'll even take photos with people in the club as long as it's in a neutral area." Even in the more private areas, however, Hawking's debilitating motor neurone disease, which has left him wheelchair-bound and completely paralyzed, requires special attention from his staff, who, according to the source, "stand nearby watching while he's with the women." Information about Freedom Acres can be found here.  UPDATE Cambridge University is denying that Professor Stephen Hawking has made a habit of visiting the Freedom Acres swingers club in California, though not that he visited it recently. Referring to "lurid statements [that] appeared on a website in America," university spokesperson Tim Holt told a local news outlet that the celebrated scientist could not be a regular visitor because he does not live in the state. "It is not true Professor Hawking is a ‘regular’ visitor to the club in question," insisted Holt. "This report is greatly exaggerated. He visited once a few years ago with friends while on a visit to California." These statements appear to conflict with ones made above by a source to the original Radar Online story, who said he had spoken to the famous scientist "on several occasions."  So who do you believe, the university spkesperson who is paid to deny such sightings or the swinging source?
