Gay Porn Star Roman Ragazzi Dead from Reported Suicide

LOS ANGELES—Dror Barak, a former Israeli military trainer who entered the adult industry in 2007 and found fame as a Raging Stallion and Collin O'Neal exclusive under the name Roman Ragazzi, has died apparently from his own hand, gaypornblog.com has reported. News of the muscular performer's death began circulating by way of social media earlier today, and was finally confirmed by Ragazzi's boyfriend. "We received a note from Dror’s boyfriend Sam who confirmed the sad news and asked that people be respectful with regards to Dror’s privacy in the comments," reported gaypornblog.com. In May of 2007, shortly after entering the industry, Dror made headlines when he was "outed" in a "Page Six" article in The New York Post, leading to his resignation from an administrative position at the Israeli consulate. His first movie, Collin O'Neal's Miami, was set to be released that same month, and his second movie, for Raging Stallion, Michael Brandon's Tailpipes, was to follow the next month. At the time, Raging Stallion president Chris Ward said of the outing, "I am proud of Roman for standing up for his own sexual identity. He is a proud, sex-positive gay man who has earned my respect and admiration. On the upside for Roman, he will make a lot more money working for us than he did for the consulate!" Ward, who named Roman Raging Stallion’s Man of the Year in 2008 and was reportedly devastated by the news of his passing, said today, “He was probably the hottest man I have ever filmed—a massive man of pure beauty, intelligence and kindness. He was perfect in every possible way.” Gaypornblog.com also posted the email it received today from Dror's boyfriend, which is reprinted here in its entirety: Details are mostly personal depression issues. His business was doing amazingly well and was expanding rapidly and he was so busy he literally could not take any more clients on himself he had to hire more trainers. So it had nothing to do with that. I only say this because he was so proud of his business and I was so proud of him for being such a hard worker and building a business with dedicated top level personal training clients. Despite what anyone thinks Dror was a loving kind person and anyone that would comment and say he wasn’t just probably misinterpreted his shyness as meanness. He was the most gentle, loving, kind, amazing man I have ever met.
