GameLink Gets Charitable in November

SAN FRANCISCO—Online adult store GameLink.com takes on an important cause in November when its staff teams up for Movember, a mustache growing movement to raise awareness and funds for men’s health. Movember aims to help change the face of men’s health by putting a fun twist on a serious issue. Using the moustache as a catalyst, they want to bring about change by giving men the opportunity and confidence to talk about their health more openly. Movember's primary campaign objective is to raise awareness about men's health issues, specifically cancers that affect men. They especially want everyone to know most cancers are highly curable if caught in the early stages— including prostate and testicular cancer. Movember aims to increase early detection, diagnosis and effective treatment, which will reduce the number of deaths from cancer. The Movember Foundation and its men’s health partners, the Prostate Cancer Foundation and LIVESTRONG, are also funding world-class awareness, research, educational and support programs that would otherwise not be possible.
