Girlfriends Films Donates $1000 to Cancer Research Institute on Behalf of Adult Performer Cindy

CHATSWORTH, CA — Some may say that Girlfriends Films already gives great joy to the world around it, but each month one of the company’s performers selects a charity to promote — and Girlfriends then donates to that charity and encourages fans to do likewise. This month’s performer is Cindy and her selected charity is Cancer Research Institute (CRI). Girlfriends Films has put $1000 in the pot in Cindy’s name and encourages fans and friends to join in the fight against cancer. CRI is dedicated exclusively to the support and coordination of laboratory and clinical efforts leading to the immunological treatment, control and prevention of cancer. “I support Cancer Research Institute, as I hope one day there are cures for all forms of cancer,” says Cindy. “I have lost several close family members and friends to breast, lung, kidney and bone cancer, so the cure is a cause very dear to me.” Cindy continues, “I’ve been shooting with Girlfriends Films for over four years now.  They were the first company I ever performed for and I’ve felt privileged to work with them as much as I have over the years. They create a comfortable work atmosphere and are always respectful of the models. Their values and work ethic carry over to their philanthropic work, helping to better the world we live in with their amazing charity program.”  Girlfriends Films calls on its strong community of fans and followers to join in the fight against cancer. Donations of all sizes may be made directly to CRI. “One of the most exciting and heart-warming aspects of the Girlfriends Films Charity Program is how many of our fans follow suit each month in donating to the selected charity,” says Girlfriends Films vice president, Moose. “Due to the large number of people affected by cancer, I believe we will see our largest response to date with October’s Cancer Research Institute donation. Giving to CRI helps us get one step closer to a world without cancer.”  Cindy most recently appeared in Girlfriends Films’ Women Seeking Women 73, Net Skirts 3.0, Road Queen 15, Lesbian Seductions 32 and Lesbian Triangles 14.  Girlfriends Films has a long history of charitable contributions, having donated over $20,000 in 2010 alone. The company recently restructured its charity program from an annual end-of-year donation to an ongoing, monthly program. 2011 donation include Melissa Monet’s choice of Planned Parenthood, Lily Cade’s selection of Lambda Legal, Ryan Keely’s pick of NPR, Trinity St. Clair’s selection of Life 4 Paws, Jiz Lee’s donation to Girls Inc. ofAlamedaCountyand Dyanna Lauren’s donation to Child Find of America.  Follow Girlfriends Films on Twitter and friend on Facebook.
