ASM Announces Record Sales on 'Alice In Wonderland - A XXX Animation'

CHATSWORTH, Calif.—Adult Source Media has announced that Alice In Wonderland – A XXX Animation has reached record sales numbers. Due to the success of the film, ASM President Wendy Crawford has disclosed that the studio now is in production on its next CGI animation project. "We are incredibly excited with how well Alice In Wonderland – A XXX Animation is selling, not only here in the U.S., but also throughout the world,” Crawford said. “The feedback from the ‘Otaku’ (anime fans) has been off the charts. We've been bombarded with orders from comic stores, so much to the point that we have received numerous requests for screenings to be shown during Anime Expo and San Diego Comic Con.” Crawford also reports strong pre-sales of the title too. “We've sold several thousand units through our mainstream distribution outlets alone and the re-orders from adult customers are running about five time's normal volume,” she said. “The adult stores are placing our movie in both the animation and parody sections, so I think that has a lot to do with the repeat sales." TLA Entertainment Group, operator of two of the largest and most successful direct mail DVD catalogs in the U.S., stated that ASM's Alice In Wonderland – A XXX Animation was the Number One pre-ordered adult title of all 2011, an amazing statistic considering how many live action DVDs have been released by the adult entertainment industry this year. TLA Managing Editor Dan Reed said, "Adult Source Media's AIW animation not only killed the competition in pre-book sales but is also easily in our top one percent bestsellers of the year. When I got the announcement for the movie, I knew it was going to be a big seller, but I had no idea it would be this big."
