Venus 2011 Pushed Back by One Week to Sept. 29-Oct. 2

BERLIN—Venus 2011 has announced that because of the cancellation of another trade show, it is moving back into its ‘old’ and better halls. It also means that the dates of the 15. Venus 2011 will be pushed back by one week, to Sept. 29-Oct. 2, 2011. According to show organizers, the move actually presents both attendees and exhibitors with a number of benefits, including these points: • VENUS will get to use its usual halls, which means that there will be no confusion about the new entrance, there is a lot more of advertising space that exhibitors are able to rent to present their products and services in the limelight, and—last but not least—the main entrance at Hammarskjöldplatz ensures an overall better presence. • The B2B Professional fair (professionals only) will take place Thursday-Saturday; the International Fair (professionals and consumers) will take place Thursday-Sunday, which means professional visitors will be able to visit both fairs, including all various fair areas. • The Thursday-Sunday time frame means one less day’s expenses to cover. • The hotel situation will ease up a lot because the Berlin marathon and the Pope’s visit will have taken place already and more rooms will be available throughout the city.
