Exxxotica Wraps 10th Expo with Over 20,000 Attendees

MIAMI BEACH—Victory Tradeshow Management has concluded its tenth overall Exxxotica Expo, with 20,000 people attending the 6th annual Exxxotica Miami Beach last weekend at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Presented by HotMovies.com, the three-day celebration of love and sex has become a staple in the SoBe community. Thousands of returning fans and first time attendees flocked to the convention center despite the high temperatures and impending rapture. Leading national and local media reported from the expo floor, documenting Exxxotica’s wide range of seminars, stage shows, contests, exhibitors and adult stars. The media and fan consensus labeled the expo an immense triumph and a rousing success. Handy, director of Victory Tradeshow Management. “An increased female focus of attractions made for a much higher percentage of women this year. We spoke with as many female and male attendees as possible, and the feedback was extremely positive. Thank you to all the sponsors and exhibitors who contributed to the overall success of the show. We are looking forward to our next stop, Exxxotica Chicago.” MiamiBeach411.com stated that the fan experience was even better at the 2011 expo.  “Exxxotica is one of the most accessible, carefree, fun events that come to South Florida every year, because much like the [adult] industry itself, Exxxotica doesn’t take itself too seriously and just wants people to have a good time,” wrote Matt Meltzer for the popular South Beach website.“ And as long as the good folks who run it maintain that attitude, they’ll always be welcome in South Florida.” “A walk on the wild side,” Miami’s CBS 4 called Exxxotica, in its news segment from the convention. The piece, which focused on all the expo offered to fans, from videos and gadgets to celebrities, ran 12 times.  “Fun for everyone!” wrote SoulofMiami.org to describe Exxxotica’s diverse experience.  The roar of female applause filled the convention center when Miami area university students took off their shirts on stage as part of the Shane’s World sponsored “Hottest Frat Dude Contest,” as well as when the Men of Adonis dance troupe performed. Male attendees were thrilled to meet their favorite adult stars and enjoy the famed Ms. Exxxotica competition.  For couples, the expo offered seminars on improving intimacy, erotic burlesque shows, a concert on the AEBN.net Stage by hip-hop legends 2 Live Crew, and exhibitors with the newest products for bedroom fun. Exhibitors took note of the show’s great attendance. Courtesy of an article in the Miami Herald, erotic artist Fang Ling Lee said, “I used to do shows, galleries, and all that stuff—it’s really stale. So I started doing [Exxxotica] shows, and the clients I get are incredible.” “Exxxotica Miami was friggin’ awesome,” exclaimed Maxine, CFO of Swipes Lovin Wipes, an all-natural sex wipe. “As a new company, we had no idea what to expect, but from start to finish we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back. We made great contacts, sold out of product every day and created buzz at the show and after-parties. Definitely worth every penny! Thanks Exxxotica for welcoming Swipes with open arms… and legs!” Pete Housley, the founder of Naughty Tweet Network, the expo’s social media sponsor, said, “Exxxotica Miami 2011 was simply out of control. We had a blast meeting and tweeting with the biggest adult stars in the business.” Dirty Diablos director Dommy B stated, “Exxxotica Miami is my favorite adult expo. The talent loves it, too. All the girls love to fly to one of the sexiest places on Earth, meet their fans and pose for pictures.” Vickie of Twisted Cherry, an adult novelty retailer, added, “This weekend at Exxxotica was fabulous. We made a ton of money and made a ton of friends. We can’t wait for Chicago!” Attendee Bo Hoppe summed it up best, courtesy of the Miami Herald “Everybody that comes in here is comfortable.  The world we live in, the society we live in, makes sex sound dirty.  Here, it doesn’t seem like that. It’s not dirty, but more welcoming.  This is the kind of convention I am willing to spend money on.”   Concluding its sixth year in South Beach and overall tenth show produced, Exxxotica is the largest adult consumer event in the country.  Exxxotica Miami Beach, Victory Tradeshow Management’s flagship event, was the first show taking place in 2011.  Next up is the much-anticipated debut of Exxxotica Chicago, which will be July 8-10 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, as well as a return to Los Angeles August 26-28 and the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan area November 4-6.  All Exxxotica Expos feature “Ladies Free Fridays” where all women are admitted to the show free of charge.
