YNOT Summit Educational Tracks Offer Advice, Perspective, Hands-On Technique

SAN FRANCISCO—Long before other industry trade shows made educational offerings mandatory, YNOT Summit was delivering top- notch learning and networking opportunities to adult online professionals. The 15th annual event—which takes take place June 23-25 at the Golden Gateway Hotel in downtown San Francisco—carries on the tradition. "We have always felt that a strong educational program should be the cornerstone of any adult business trade show," said Director of Operations LAJ. "YNOT has been making it a top priority since the beginning, well before seminars and workshops became standards among adult trade shows. Given that we tend to draw a very business-minded crowd that values learning just as much as networking and partying, we feel that our current lineup of seminars, workshops, original networking opportunities and one-of-a-kind evening parties are second to none." Networking opportunities during the three-day show include an FTVCash-hosted lounge from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, where attendees can relax and make deals. A "speed networking" session will take place from noon to 2 p.m. on the first day followed by the ever-popular, industry trendsetting "Show & Sell" marketplace from 3-6 p.m. A cocktail reception will spice up the second day's evening from 7-10 p.m. Workshops include "Newbie Boot Camp" for entrepreneurs who are just joining the industry, intensive legal and billing presentations, a hands-on practicum called "Making Live Work for You," a session revealing how to integrate the latest technologies with any website, and the always-popular SoloBabeCash live photo shoot.  Seminars include "Striking Back: Piracy and Thieves," "State of the Industry" and a traffic-and-marketing session. For prospective models, there will be an open session with casting directors and website operators. In addition, Utherverse will present a live demonstration of its virtual world technology, MojoHost's Brad Mitchell will address the current business environment, and Free Speech Coalition Executive Director Diane Duke will present a view of the political climate now and what it may look like in the future. Launched in 1997 as Cybernet Expo, the event is the longest-running adult industry event designed to address the specific needs of online adult entertainment professionals. Along with a change in name to more accurately reflect the industry leading classes, seminars and hands-on workshops, the 2011 summit has been enhanced with new activities designed to facilitate business networking in entertaining and innovative ways. Rooms at the headquarters hotel are $149 per night. Schedules and other information are available at YNOTsummit.com . The online registration interface is here.
