Austin Wolf Airplane Sex Video Under ‘Revenge Porn’ Investigation

A Delta Airlines flight attendant may lose his job after video of his sexual escapade in an airplane bathroom with gay porn performer Austin Wolf was posted on the social media platform Twitter, according to a report by Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper. In fact, two videos of the eight-minute encounter appeared on Twitter, where one of the flight attendant’s co-workers spotted them. Though the attendant was off-duty, he was still clad in his Delta uniform while he rode the flight as a passenger. The Mail did not name the man because he said that the videos were posted online without his consent, and that he was unaware that the “mile high” encounter was being recorded on video. While the attendant has been suspended by the airline pending a full investigation, Delta officials are also investigating whether the posting of the two, four-minute sex videos would break “revenge porn” laws and possibly leave whoever posted them open to criminal charges. According to a report by the New Zealand-based site NewsHub, “The eight-minute video was filmed onboard a Delta Airlines flight and posted online by Wolfe to his hundreds of thousands of followers under the title 'Keep Climbing,’ which is also the airline's slogan.” The Mail report, however, did not state who posted the videos—but noted that both have since been deleted from the social media platform. "This video does not reflect the standards of professionalism expected of our employees while representing the Delta brand or traveling as passengers on Delta aircraft,” the airline said in a statement announcing that the flight attendant was now under suspension. "If the two guys had gone into the stall, done their thing and discreetly left it at that, maybe he would have gotten away with it," a source told the Daily Mail. "But when the clips were posted online it spread around the airline like wildfire. It was such a stupid thing to do—and then to have it posted online, the poor guy must be mortified." According to a recent survey of more than 11,000 online dating-site users, nearly 80 percent said that they “would like to” join the so-called “Mile High Club”—that is, have sex on an airplane in flight—but only five percent said they actually have done so. Of those who answered that they had already engaged on sex in an airborne plane, 30 percent—nearly one out of three—said that their partner was a total stranger. That number was surpassed only by the 37 percent who said that their in-flight sexual partner was also their partner in an existing romantic relationship. Almost one of every five, 18 percent, of the “Mile High Club” experiences, however was with a member of the airline’s staff. However, prospective Mile High Club members should be aware that sex aboard a commercial airliner could carry criminal penalties. While laws vary depending on the airline’s country or state of origin, having sex on a flight could violate laws against indecent exposure, having sex in a public bathroom, or even interfering with a flight crew.
