Anny Aurora: As 'Real' As It Gets

LOS ANGELES—Anny Aurora uses one word to describe her style of porn performing. “Real,” she says. “I’m not into faking. I’m not into doing something that I don’t like. “So you will just see movies where I’m really into it—like anal or girls. I just love what I do and I love the scenes.” If Aurora’s recent trip to LA was any indication, the US porn community loves her right back. The native of Cologne, Germany, enjoyed an impressive run of bookings in which she performed with a who’s who of the adult industry in her first visit to the States as a Spiegler Girl. During her May-June visit, Aurora shot with A-list performer-producers Manuel Ferrara, Mike Adriano, Mick Blue, Keiran Lee and Kevin Moore for starters, not to mention scenes for Babes, Twistys, FemDom, PervCity, FM Concepts, Girlfriends Films and Girlsway. “Everybody liked her,” says her agent Mark Spiegler, whose elite talent roster includes only three girls from Europe. “I just told a few people that she’s coming back for September and she’s already booked for half it. Once I send out an email to everyone she’ll probably be booked her entire trip. “Everybody liked her personality. She’s tall and kind of reminds me a little bit of a less crazy Annette Schwarz.” Spiegler repped the now retired Schwarz, who is also from Germany, in the mid-2000s as Schwarz made a name for herself in America. Aurora, who is only 21 and made her porn debut three years ago, seems well on her way to US stardom. “It’s really nice to be with Spiegler because he gives you a lot of jobs and you’re going to know all the new people,” Aurora says. The two became acquainted during a bowling night organized by veteran performer Steve Holmes earlier this year. “It was before AVN [in January],” Aurora recalls. “I went with Texas Patti, Manuel Ferrara and Mark Spiegler together. It was the first time I met him and he was like, ‘Oh, you look like Annette Schwarz!’ I was like, ‘Yeah, kind of!’ And then we saw each other at the AVN [Show] again. And then we were just like, ‘Yeah, let’s do it.’” Aurora says before she started porn that she and her ex-boyfriend were swingers in Cologne, the fourth largest city in Germany located about 30 miles southeast of Düsseldorf in the western part of the country. “I don’t know if that’s common here but in Germany it is,” she says. “So you just go to private parties and have some fun there with like stranger people. It’s really nice.” When Aurora turned 18 she saw a girl post a profile link to an amateur porn site on Facebook—and she clicked on it. “I was like, ‘Oh, that looks kind of fun,’” she says. With her curiosity piqued, Aurora started webcamming. “The first time I was a little bit nervous because of course there were people coming [into my chatroom] and saying, ‘Oh, you’re kind of sweet.’ I was like, ‘Oh, thank you.’ Since then I’m just doing porn,” Aurora explains. “I still have my own website and I still do amateur clips and webcam; I shoot for productions in Europe, too, and I come to America a few times in a year.” The biggest difference between the porn shot in Europe compared to the US, she says, is the size of the production. “In Germany we got just like five people on set,” she says. “And here you can have up to 20 people on set working, so it’s really crazy. “Of course there’s more money in the industry here than in Germany. Because normally just German people watch German porn.” Aurora points to her work with X-Art and Blacked as a couple of personal favorites of the 60-something scenes that have already been released. During her latest tour through Porn Valley, her standout scenes include her anal encounter with Manuel Ferrara, the five-time AVN Male Performer of the Year, for Jules Jordan Video. It was her first ever scene with the popular French stud. “I saw him first bowling and then I fucked him,” Aurora jokes. “It was really great. He’s like a really good producer and director and he’s a really good performer. It was just like fun. It’s just like so passionate and we just keep going and we just flow with the vibe.” She didn’t mind her scene with Mike Adriano, the reigning AVN Web Director of the Year, either. “It was an anal scene, too,” she says. “I love his apartment. It’s really colorful, which you always see in the videos. And he’s fun, too.” The 5-foot-8 model, who still cams on sites such as MyDirtyHobby, LiveStrip, AmateurCommunity and Visit-X, is part of a small percentage of performers who have no tattoos or piercings. “I’m like complete real—maybe except for my hair color but I think that’s OK,” she says with a grin. Aurora adds, “I like tattoos personally but I will never get one. I will not know what I should ink. Everyone has like a heart or a star or something like that. Like all what I need to know is in my brain and I don’t need to print it on my body.” Aurora also takes online university classes in psychology in her spare time. “I’m going for a degree in psychology but it takes like 10 years,” she reveals. “I just got my high school diploma and then I started to do the webcam thing and I was like, ‘Hmm, what should I do now? OK, just keep going.’ Because it’s like so much fun. And then I was like I want to have a Plan B in my life. So I started to study.”  Aurora was drawn to psychology because “I just want to understand how people react to some things.” “And I think it’s really interesting to know and to maybe understand more this society and why people do what they do,” she continues. “I think that’s a big thing for me.” Aurora says her hometown of Cologne is known for the Rhine River, which runs through the city, and the Great St. Martin Church, a landmark that dates back centuries. “It’s really nice,” she says. “It’s green. It’s really pretty.” Traveling is one of her biggest passions—she’s been to Barcelona, Prague and Budapest to name a few places. “I love to travel in my private life,” Aurora says.    She also loves cooking fresh food. “I don’t eat that much meat, so it’s more vegetarian or vegan stuff,” Aurora says. “I love to have just a bunch of vegetables in a pan and some rice. Or some sushi is always good. Something like that, like really simple but really good. “I got my own AirBnB [in LA] so I got like a kitchen and stuff. It’s really important for me to have because I don’t like to go out here that much.” She learned how to cook on her own. “My mom is crazy in baking stuff, like cakes and stuff. But I’m not that good in it. When you’ve got your own flat you need to learn how to cook, and I like it when it’s just you in your kitchen. You don’t need to worry about anything. You can listen to some good music and you’re just by your own. It’s like the perfect spot where you don’t need to do anything besides cooking,” Aurora says. With her 22nd birthday coming up in September, Aurora says she wants go as far as she can with her porn career. “As long as the people want to see me,” Aurora says. “That’s an important point, I think. And as long as I have fun in it. If I don’t have fun in it then I just say, ‘OK, it’s nothing for me anymore.’ Then I do something else.” Meanwhile, she says every scene she gets is a new opportunity. “I am like so thankful to get the booking from them and to be on their website,” Aurora concludes. “So every one is important for me.
