Stormy Daniels, Reality TV Star: Inks $650K Deal for 1-Week Stint

2018 still has five months to go, and AVN Hall of Famer Stormy Daniels has already sued Donald Trump twice, been interviewed on 60 Minutes, been hit with divorce papers claiming adultery, and gone on a nationwide tour of strip clubs that at one stop, ended up with cops targeting her for arrest.  Now, Daniels has reportedly added another life-defining event to her 2018 calendar—according to Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper, Daniels will appear on the British version of the reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother. But it’s difficult to blame Daniels for accepting the offer from the reality show. According to the Mail report, she’ll spend only seven days in the Big Brother house alongside, according to The Sun tabloid, former Cheers star Kirstie Alley and a group of other celebs, mostly U.K. TV personalities. And for spending a week under the watchful Big Brother cameras, Daniels will be paid a whopping £500,000—the equivalent of more than $650,000 in United States cash. “This is a real coup for the show – it will give it global pick-up,” a person identified only as “a source” told the Mail. “The money she wanted to go into the house was so high that there was no way they could afford her for the whole four weeks, so they decided it was better to have her in for a short time than not at all. While £500,000 is a lot of money, everyone involved in the show is hoping she will be worth it.” According to the Sun, Daniels has promised the show’s producers that “she wouldn’t hold back on talking about her affair with (Trump).” Daniels, of course, says she had unprotected sex with Trump in his hotel room at a Lake Tahoe, Nevada, golf tournament in 2006. Shortly before the 2016 presidential election, Trump’s personal “fixer” Michael Cohen arranged a $130,000 payoff to Daniels to buy her silence about the affair. The Express newspaper also quoted a unnamed source claiming knowledge about the show. “Everyone thinks she’s going to be a hit with the British public, especially after the protests when he visited last week,” that source said. “By going on the show it’s also a chance for Stormy to show people who she really is.” Phoyo by Thomas Hawk / Flickr Creative Commons
